The aim of this site is to allow people to explore the use of diffusion based methods in geological materials, with an initial focus on volcanic and igneous materials.  The site includes a selection of training materials - essentially recorded lectures as voice-overed PDF files - regarding aspects of diffusion modelling, and some materials for practicing the skills of model building in easily available software such as Microsoft Excel.  It is hoped that the materials present will grow and expand as the community asks questions and therefore steers the conversation, and will hopefully become a community of learning.
